<Research>HSBC Research Raises TPs for TRIP.COM-S/ TONGCHENGTRAVEL, Reiterates Buy Ratings

This year's Golden Week holiday lasts for 8 days, longer than 7 days last year. HSBC Global Research wrote in its report that it estimated the longer holiday to encourage more long-distance and overseas travel, benefiting overall tourist spending and online travel agency platforms.

According to data from Flight Manager, domestic flight bookings in China during the Golden Week increased by 3% YoY, with ticket prices up by 9%, while outbound flight bookings surged by 13% YoY, with related searches up by 40%.

TRIP.COM-S (09961.HK) and Fliggy are expected to see a 45% and 53% YoY spike in inter-provincial travel bookings during this period, reflecting more people traveling further and staying longer.

HSBC Global Research raised its target prices for TRIP.COM-S and TONGCHENGTRAVEL (00780.HK) from HKD624 and HKD24 to HKD702 and HKD26, and reiterated their Buy ratings.
