According to a research report from Ping An Securities, Chinese AI startup Monica.im has announced the launch of the world's first universal AI Agent product, Manus (early preview version).

Manus, as indicated by a video introduction from the Monica.im team, is a truly autonomous AI agent capable of handling various complex and dynamic tasks.

Unlike traditional AI assistants, Manus (Latin for "hand") not only provides suggestions or answers but also delivers complete task results directly, advancing AI products from "brain" to "hand".

The official video has showcased three real-world use cases of Manus: resume screening, property selection, and stock analysis. In GAIA benchmark tests, Manus achieved new SOTA across all three difficulty levels. Its Agent is defined as an intelligent entity capable of perceiving the environment, making autonomous decisions, and executing complex tasks, making it a more mature AI product.

The world's first universal AI Agent product, Manus, launched by a team in China has demonstrated the strong versatility and complex task execution capabilities of China's AI Agent products. Ping An Securities estimated this accomplishment to speed up the deep application of AI across various industries.

Ping An Securities also pointed out that there is currently a resonance between the AI industry and policy sectors. On the industry side, Manus has reflected the strong versatility and complex task execution capabilities of China's AI Agent products.

Ping An Securities believed this will be beneficial in accelerating the deep application of AI across various industries.
