According to the Service Survey Centre of the National Bureau of Statistics and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), China's Non-manufacturing PMI was 51.2 in April, a MoM decrease of 1.8 ppts, but still above the threshold, signalling a continued expansion in the non-manufacturing sector.

Composite PMI was 51.7, down 1 ppt from the previous month, and continued to be higher than the critical point, indicating that the production and operation activities of Chinese enterprises continued to expand.

By sector, PMI for the construction sector was 56.3, up 0.1 ppts MoM, while PMI for the service sector was 50.3, down 2.1 ppts MoM.

New Orders Index was 46.3, down 1.1 ppts MoM. Input Price Index was 51.1, up 1.6 ppts MoM. Selling Price Index was 49.4, up 0.8 ppts MoM, but still below the threshold. Employment Index was 47.2, up 0.6 ppts MoM. Expectations Index was 57.2, down 1.2 ppts from a month earlier.
