Kingsoft Group held the opening ceremony for the Wuhan Kingsoft Software Park in Optics Valley, according to Chinese media. Lei Jun, Chairman of Kingsoft Group and Founder and CEO of XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), said that the opening of the Wuhan Kingsoft Software Park marks an important milestone in Kingsoft Group's investment in Wuhan. Following the proposal in 2023 to build a R&D center for 10,000 people in Wuhan, XIAOMI-W and Kingsoft now have a total of 9,500 employees in Wuhan. It is expected that, by the end of 2025, the center will reach its target of 10,000 employees, steadily moving toward the goal of establishing two R&D centers for 10,000 people.
