According to a report from Morgan Stanley, the broker found that American investors indicated dramatically higher interest in Chinese stocks than in 2021-24 during its roadshow that stretched one-and-a-half weeks in the US.

Their focus was mainly on areas like AI humanoid robots, biotechnology, and innovative consumer sectors, though a certain degree of concern remained. Morgan Stanley advised them to pay attention to a number of indicators.

The broker highlighted that American investors' positive investment interest in Chinese stocks is currently at its highest since the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether from an index level or targeting specific themes and structural opportunities, the attention they have given to the Chinese market has been quite surprising.

In addition, over 90% of the investors Morgan Stanley met expressed a willingness to increase their allocation in China, marking the highest level since the Chinese stock market peaked in early 2021.

Morgan Stanley attributed the resurgence in investment willingness to multiple factors, including the fact that investors have agreed with its more constructive view on China YTD. Since June, the broker, optimistic about thematic investment opportunities, has recommended expanding holdings in A-shares, which have gained investors' support.
