This year's National Day Golden Week holiday lasts 8 days, one day more than usual, which is expected to attract more visitors to Macau, according to a report from Citi. However, due to the more dispersed visitor arrivals, the average daily visitor numbers may be diluted. That being said, average wager/ Premium Mass player remained at HKD28,466, marking an all-time high in the broker's record, comparable to this year's Labor Day and last year's National Day levels. Encouragingly, the average wager of whale gamblers increased by 6% YoY to nearly HKD176,600, signaling a strong performance for the Macau gaming industry during the Golden Week.
