Hong Kong stocks opened lower in the morning session. The HSI opened 212 points or 0.8% lower at 26,172. The HSCEI opened 66 points or 0.7% lower at 9,261. The HSTECH opened 72 points or 1.3% lower at 5,684.

For autos, XPENG-W (09868.HK) reported a narrower 3Q non-GAAP net loss of RMB152 million, but its 4Q revenue guidance missed consensus, with the stock opening down 7.3% at HKD89. LEAPMOTOR (09863.HK) turned profitable in 3Q with earnings of RMB150 million, meeting sales targets ahead of schedule, but the stock opened 1.8% lower. Additionally, LI AUTO-W (02015.HK) and NIO-SW (09866.HK) opened 2.4% and 3% lower, while BYD COMPANY (01211.HK) opened 1.2% lower. Battery stock CATL (03750.HK) opened 1.1% lower.

XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), BILIBILI-W (09626.HK), SMIC (00981.HK), and HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) opened 0.3-0.4% lower. BIDU-SW (09888.HK), NTES-S (09999.HK), and KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) opened 1.5-1.9% lower.

Travel platform TRIP.COM-S (09961.HK) charted a 1.94-fold leap in 3Q net profit YoY, with the stock opening 1.5% higher. TONGCHENGTRAVEL (00780.HK) opened 2.4% lower. CHINAHONGQIAO (01378.HK) raised HKD11.49 billion in net proceeds through a 9.6% discounted top-up placing, with the stock opening 7.7% lower at HKD29.8.
