Hong Kong's Secretary for Environment and Ecology Tse Chin-wan, HKELECTRIC-SS (02638.HK) Managing Director Francis Cheng, and CLP Power Managing Director Joseph Law will hold a joint press conference today (18th) at 4:30 pm to announce the electricity tariff adjustments by the two power companies for 2026. Sources indicated that the electricity tariffs for the two companies will decrease by about 2% next year, with the average net electricity tariff per unit expected to drop by around HK3-4 cents compared to the same period last year.
