As of the end of October 2025, the total number of 5G base stations in Mainland China recorded at 4.758 million, reflecting a net increase of 507,000 compared to the end of the previous year, data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) showed. 5G base stations made up for 37% of the total mobile base stations, up 0.4 ppts from that in the previous three quarters.
