Tencent Foundation (Hong Kong) (literal translation of "騰訊公益慈善基金會(香港)") announced the launch of an initial donation of $10 million to assist residents affected by the disaster at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po. The funds will be used for urgent jobs including emergency rescue, transitional housing, supplies of daily necessities and emotional counseling. TENCENT (00700.HK) said that it will continue to monitor the disaster relief situation, maintain cooperation with all parties based on the disaster conditions and actual needs, and extend its highest respect to firefighters and ambulance men and organizations from all walks of life who are making every effort to rescue.
