<CN Home>CIA: Widening MoM Decline in Nov's 2nd-hand Home Prices in 100 Mainland CN Cities

Under the influence of high listing volumes and weak expectations, the downward pressure on second-hand home prices in Mainland China mounted, the China Index Academy (CIA) said in its report.

In November, the average price of second-hand residential properties in 100 mainland cities was RMB13,143 per square meter, marking an MoM decline of 0.94%, with the decline expanding by 0.1 ppt from the previous month, and a YoY downfall of 7.95%, data showed.

In terms of second-hand residential properties, November saw MoM price subtractions of 1.15%, 0.98%, and 0.81% in T1, T2, T3/4, respectively, with YoY drops of 5.62%, 8.24%, and 7.47%, all expanding compared to the previous month.

Regarding newly built residential properties, T1 cities posted an MoM price hikes of 0.75% and a YoY increase of 6.66%; T2 cities saw an MoM rise of 0.36% and a YoY increase of 1.89%; representative T3/4 cities logged an MoM loss of 0.18% and a YoY shrinkage of 1.55%.
