Global investors are currently seeking diversified investment opportunities, Gregory Yu, Head of Markets at HKEX (00388.HK), said. As a result, HKEX has been committed to providing a wider range of diversified investment products, aiming to attract ample liquidity to the market. In recent years, the strengthened development of ETFs has successfully attracted different types of investors. HKEX will continue to expand its diversified asset ecosystem, covering stocks, derivatives, ETFs, fixed income & currency and commodities, and will implement structural optimization measures to enhance market operation efficiency and convenience, Yu added. These include the ongoing implementation of an uncertificated securities market and simplification of the board lot rules, with the goal of making Hong Kong the preferred market for investors.
