CNPC Adds Stake in PETROCHINA

PETROCHINA (00857.HK) announced that it received a notice from CNPC that CNPC had increased its shareholding by 30 million PETROCHINA A-shares through centralized price bidding on the trading system of the Shanghai Stock Exchange and that Fairy King Investments Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNPC, had raised its shareholding by 11.896 million PETROCHINA H-shares through secondary market on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Immediately prior to the increase of shareholding, CNPC directly holds 150.412 billion PETROCHINA A-shares, indirectly holds 303 million PETROCHINA H-shares through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Fairy King Investments Ltd., and aggregately holds 150.716 billion PETROCHINA shares, representing around 82.35% of the total issued share capital of PETROCHINA.
