Today (30th) is the Hong Kong stock market's futures settlement day. The HSI managed to extend its gains after midday. It last printed at 25,902, up 267 points or 1.05%, with a turnover of HKD139.669 billion. DOBOT (02432.HK) last traded at HKD39.3, up 15.93%, with a turnover of HKD581 million. It has announced its decision to initiate an IPO of RMB ordinary shares and its plan to list on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) last spiked 9.37% to HKD130.7, with a turnover of HKD1.997 billion. It announced that its chairman and CEO Zhou Jian had voluntarily pledged not to reduce his personal holding of 70.574 million UBTECH ROBOTICS H-shares by any means within 12 months. In addition, UBTECH ROBOTICS had earlier announced that it spent around RMB1.665 billion to acquire about 43% of FENGLONG (002931.SZ), a company focusing on the R&D, production, and sales of garden machinery engines and electric machines, hydraulic control systems, and automotive components. SANHUA (02050.HK), a Tesla supplier and robotics parts manufacturer, opened 0.1% lower this morning. It last traded at HKD38.46, up 12.59%, with a turnover of HKD1.769 billion. JOHNSON ELEC H (00179.HK), a company involved in the production of robotic joints, was last at HKD31.32, up 5.53%, with a turnover of HKD168 million.
