China's State Administration for Market Regulation has launched a probe into TRIP.COM-S (09961.HK) for alleged monopolistic behavior. TONGCHENGTRAVEL (00780.HK) plunged 8.2%. TRIP.COM-S also tumbled 19.2% to close at HKD460, with a turnover of HKD15.816 billion. BIDU-SW (09888.HK) edged up 0.8% amid rumors that it is considering upgrading its Hong Kong listing status to primary listing. LENS (06613.HK) rose 1.6%, having delivered humanoid robots in bulk to several leading robot clients. Chip stocks staged a rebound, as TSMC's quarterly results beat expectations, and the People's Bank of China announced an increase in the quota for technology innovation and technological transformation re-lending by RMB400 billion, bringing the total quota to RMB1.2 trillion. SMIC (00981.HK) ballooned 1.8%. HUA HONG SEMI (01347.HK) soared 6.3% to HKD99.45. ILUVATAR COREX (09903.HK) and INNOSCIENCE (02577.HK) gained 2.9%. Among other tech stocks, TENCENT (00700.HK) and NTES-S (09999.HK) faded 1.7% and 3.2%. BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) lost 1%. MEITU (01357.HK), PA GOODDOCTOR (01833.HK), and CHINA LIT (00772.HK) slid 3.6-4.9%. KINGDEE INT'L (00268.HK) and WEIMOB INC (02013.HK) ebbed 8.1% and 6.2%. Regarding AI-related stocks, XTALPI (02228.HK) collapsed 10.7%. KINGSOFT CLOUD (03896.HK) and INSILICO (03696.HK) shed 3.7% and 4.8%. KNOWLEDGE ATLAS (02513.HK) mushroomed 11.6%.
