WeChat announced that its cross-border and overseas users worldwide used mini programs more than 5 billion times in 2025.

With WeChat's mini program services now covering 100 countries and regions and its cross-border payment function, which supports 36 currencies, being accessible in 78 countries and regions, the transaction amount completed through mini programs in 2H25 increased by more than 70% YoY.
