JD Hong Kong announced the official launch of a major community support project, the 'happy home program' (literal translation of "幸福家計劃"), in response to the Hong Kong government's initiative to improve the quality of life for citizens, especially public housing residents. Leveraging JD's supply chain capabilities, the plan aims to help public housing families reduce housing and living costs through multiple subsidies, exclusive services, offline activities and innovative products, etc.. Furthermore, JD Hong Kong partnered with TCL to launch the new generation of inverter silent window air conditioner, WhispIN, specifically for Hong Kong users. The product uses a UK plug, complies with Hong Kong safety standards, and its energy-saving performance is recognized by the Hong Kong Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD), achieving up to a grade 1 energy label.
